Xiaomi has just launched the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition series. Previously, the company launched four models of the Redmi Note 12 for October 2022.
The four models include Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Discover (Explorer).
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has differences from the previous four models, such as not using MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chipset.
Instead, the company prefers to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset with 12GB of RAM and a fast-charging 67W 5000mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition features a 6.67-inch thin bezel display and Full HD+ resolution.
Xiaomi itself is equipping this Android phone with an OLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
On the photographic side, Xiaomi has included three rear cameras in the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition.
Each lens is 108MP with 1/1.52″ Samsung HM2 sensor, 9MP (ultra wide angle) and 2MP (macro). For selfies, use the 16MP camera.
Unlike Redmi Note 12 Pro which uses MIUI 13 based on Android 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition is already using MIUI 14 with Android 13.
The Xiaomi mobile phone comes in three colors – black, blue and green – and has three memory options: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. and 12GB/256GB.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition with 6GB of RAM will be priced at $245 (Rs 3.8 million), 8GB will be priced at $269 (Rs 4 million) and 12GB will be priced at $285 (Rs 4.4 million).
Meanwhile, today (11/17/2022), on Thursday, Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi Paddy Indonesia, the first tablet in the Redmi line.
Redmi Pad is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 6nm process and speed up to 2.2GHz. Xiaomi claims that this device can run multiple applications including playing games.
The Redmi Pad also supports LPDDR4X + UFS 2.2 memory with 6GB RAM supporting up to 2GB RAM expansion. The ROM has a capacity of 128GB and supports external MicroSD storage up to 1TB.
In terms of screen size, the screen size of Xiaomi devices is 10.61 inches and supports HD video playback of up to 2K.
The tablet has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and has built-in blue light reduction with low light certification from TÜV Rheinland.
Xiaomi said that the Redmi Pad tablet is the world’s first tablet to achieve SGS Low Visual Fatigue certification, so it is comfortable and safe for the eyes during prolonged use or in low light conditions.
For a more immersive experience, this tablet is equipped with four speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for clear and powerful sound.
The Redmi Pad tablet also has an 8MP front camera and a 105 degree ultra wide angle lens. Supports video call activity to improve screen quality.
In addition, the camera was placed horizontally so that the position of the face came out naturally when conducting online school or virtual meetings.
Another technology included is FocusFrame, which can automatically change the width to a wider one. So during a video call, all participants remain centered in the frame, even if someone joins later.
Meanwhile, for the rear camera, Xiaomi offers an 8MP camera on the Redmi Pad tablet.
The battery of the Redmi Pad also has a large power capacity of 8000mAh and also provides 18W fast charging. Xiaomi has also provided a charger inside the box.
For design, the Redmi pad uses a metallic unibody material. The device looks slim at 7.05mm thick and weighs 445g.
The Redmi panel is available in two color options, Graphite Gray and Moonlight Silver, and will be available online and offline from 25 November 2022 at a price of IDR 3,499,000.
